WeMod does not use your PC to mine bitcoin or any crypto currency. If you are sitting on a game page it is likely ads which get deprioritized when you are using wemod.

it seems like when i opened it and closed it again it stopped using a bunch of cpu, maybe it was updating while unprioritized?
