Hey @surreal rune Which platform do you own the game on or is it pirated?
its on steam. I purchased it via steam
Do the options toggle off immediately or stay on with no effect

When both the game and trainer are running, have you tried stopping the trainer and restarting it?
Can you confirm when the trainer says playing that the latest version is being applied.
Are you using any third party mods with the game? UI changes, addons etc
The last update to the game was almost 3 years ago. Are you using the base version or the upgraded one.
I'll confirm with our team but it could be something on your end, In the mean time try following these steps if you want.
1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
I tried a restart already. My antivirus is just windows defender but I'll trying turning it off
I'll try the rest of those options too and let you know in a bit if it changes
Its weord if that were the case though because I was just playing returnal the other day with no issues and didn't have to turn anything off

Can you try other versions and see if the issues the same.
