#Overlay suddenly stopped working

I've been using WeMod for awhile now and up until the last few days I've had zero issues. Suddenly I'm unable to use the in game overlay though and I've tried everything I know to do to fix it unfortunately to no avail.

1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

  • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

none of this worked... however I just played around with some of my in-game settings (Enshrouded is the game) and I changed my resolution down a step as well as turn ON v-sync and now it appears to be working.

I was in 3840x2160 but scaled down to 1920x1080

nope... it's the V-sync option. when I switch that back off that's when it disables the overlay again, however on the wemod app it still shows the overlay on. it's very weird. never had this issue before
