If you haven't already, try launching the game from Steam first. Once you're on the game menu, switch to WeMod, click Play, and then try using the mod again.

Although I don’t own the game myself, I wanted to suggest a potential workaround. If the game has a save slot feature, you could try creating a new save game and then attempt to use the trainer to see if it works.

the mod cant be activated in the main menu or either of my 2 saves one i created today along with a couple other mods so there is only 1 mod that can be activated and it works
