There is DLC that is able to be chosen when you launch the game (Gaiden https://store.steampowered.com/dlc/1718570) and if it's chosen, only 2 mods work. The 2 mods are God Mode and Multiple Money Get.

They turn off over time

#

Some may turn off immediately though but it seems over time for most if not all

#

Also, I've tried this on two different computers

Correct, and it seems to be treated as a separate game. The time it takes to load the mod initially takes much longer than the base game

How do I request 2 new mods for the game?

Infinite Force - Used from the Grow menu
Infinite Magic Crystals - Use from the Karon/Polin menu
