I have disabled it for the sake of testing this but this hasn't resolved the issue

Okay, can you try whitelisting it instead? There are cases that even when the AV is disabled, it is still blocking Wemod

Just tried this now and again the mods seem to instantly disable when activated (no effect to state of the game)

Are you buy any chance using it on multiplayer?

Can you try setting Steam to offline then start the game through steam, wait for it to load until you can see the main menu then hit Play on Wemod?

No, this is for the base singleplayer game (not even the online challenges)

I have just set steam offline and the mods are still acting in the same way when applied

Just to confirm, I have not been using any other mods, I have tried having ONLY WeMod and the game/steam running also. This has had no impact
