1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

That should have resolved it. I suggest uninstalling WeMod, restarting your PC, then running a system file check.

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator

    • Press Start, type cmd,
    • Right-click Command Prompt, select Run as administrator.
  2. Run the System File Checker

    • In the Command Prompt window, type:

      sfc /scannow

    • Press Enter and wait for the scan to complete. This may take some time.

  3. Once done, check the results. If it reports any corrupt files and fixes them, restart your PC again.

Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date and stable. You can do this via your GPU software (like NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Adrenalin) or through Device Manager.

Also check to make sure your antivirus is not interfering by quarantining any files.

Try these steps

Modify CUDA/GPU Settings for WeMod

  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
Right-click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel from the context menu.

  2. Access 3D Settings
In the left sidebar, click on Manage 3D settings.

  3. Go to Program Settings Tab
Select the Program Settings tab on the right.

  4. Choose the WeMod App
In the dropdown under “Select a program to customize,” find and select WeMod.

  5. Adjust CUDA - GPUs Setting
Scroll through the settings list and find CUDA - GPUs.
Click the dropdown next to it and choose Use these GPUs:

⚠️ Important: If your only listed GPU is already selected, do not select it again—doing so may disable CUDA for WeMod.

  1. Apply and Test
Click Apply in the bottom right. Then launch WeMod and see if the issue is resolved.

I’ve reached out to the team for a second opinion. Can you provide your system specs including your GPU in the meantime.

yes

Just out of curiosity is your monitor plugged into your GPU or your motherboard? It’s also possible that your older components don’t support some of the newer features in Windows 11 on wemod. Unfortunately, if the --disable-gpu option doesn’t help, the best next step would be a clean reinstall of both the app and your GPU drivers if you have not done so already.

What can i do after this?

Could a full factory reset solve it?

I understand how frustrating this must be. Typically, the issue is resolved using the steps I shared earlier. You're absolutely welcome to try it again, but it's possible that your PC may not be compatible with what we use. If there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know.
