For The King 2 not working for Windows edition

Whenever i try to use the trainer for For The King 2 for Windows edition i get the error message

"There was a problem loading the mods. If you didn't close the game, your game version might not be compatible or you may have to allow WeMod through your firewall or anti-virus software".

I have allowed WeMod through my firewall and even turned it off completely but no luck, I'm wondering if the mods are just outdated?

Try launching the game from Xbox app first. Wait until you are on the game menu then switch to WeMod and click Play.

None, just basic windows antivirus. But I’ve allowed WeMod through it and just completely turned it off to no avail

Restarted a few times and persists but I’ll do it again just to check

How about disabling your windows antivirus completely? Once done, restart your PC again, then launch wemod app(run it as admin) and check if it works now.

When you mentioned that you allowed wemod through your AV, may I know if these are the files you excluded?

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Make sure to use the most recent trainer version, which you can check by going to the Mods version under Mod settings.

I have no other anti virus and have excluded wemod from it. tried completely disabling it and still doesnt work. ill try reinstalling but im not sure itll work but ill get back to you
