I'm experiencing some unusual issues with this game. WeMod now refuses to launch the game using the launch button and instead prompts me to launch it via Steam.

However, even when I launch the game through Steam, the mod doesn't load properly. It just displays "Loading mods..." and never progresses. After exiting the game, an error message appears saying it's the wrong version. Ironically, everything was working fine just a few days ago.

Other games supported by WeMod are working perfectly—this issue seems to affect only this particular game. I have tried verifying integrity of game files and updated the latest game version too.
I don't think I have any anti-virus software or firewall set-up, just using normal windows defender.

Purchased via Steam.
No. Only WeMod.
Erm isn't it single player only?
I have posted the error message.
It's the general loading of mods into the game.
