Hey @rotund idol You can confirm you are using the correct exe by following these steps. Let me know if anything changes.

  1. Launch the Game
Start the game as you normally would.

  2. Open Task Manager
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

  3. Find the Game in the Processes Tab

    • Look for the game under the "Processes" tab.
    • It’s usually listed by the game’s name or developer.
    • Right-click the game’s process and select "Open file location."
  4. That’s the .exe File
This will open the folder where the .exe is located. The highlighted file is the executable you need.

Hi MLGENIE

#

Thank you for your answere
I followed the way you discribed and found another problem:

The file shown by taskmanager con not be founded by WeMod cause it's not marked as an .exe
It's called Game-Datei (don't know the english term)

As shown in the screenshots:

#

This is the file found by taskmanager

#

this is shown when I want WeMod to find the file

#

I am not able to change the typ of file

  1. Go one level up from the Data folder to the root of Red Alert 3 Uprising.
  2. Look for the actual game EXE. It is usually named something like:
    • RA3EP1.exe
    • or just RA3.exe (though this is for the base game, not Uprising).
  • Exit the Data subfolder.
  • Look in the main Red Alert 3 Uprising folder.
  • The EXE(application) should be there.

I've done that a few times - It was alwas the same result, WeMod wasn't able to load the Mods.

#

found the RA3EP1.exe

#

Told WeMod the path

#

got this result

#

thats why I assumed it could be the wrong exe file
