The version of my game is 1.1231387.0.1 (Patch 7), which is one of the latest updates available through Epic Games.
WeMod's trainer for Dead Island 2 was last updated on October 28, 2024, and supports versions available up to that date.

🔍 Result:
My game version: 1.1231387.0.1 (Patch 7)

WeMod-supported version: as of October 28, 2024

This means my game version is newer than the version currently supported by the WeMod trainer, which is why WeMod may not recognize or properly attach to the game.

1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

This trainer is working fine for me, I suggest reinstalling wemod and adding it to your antivirus exclusions.

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

  • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

I followed all the clean reinstall steps you provided:

Uninstalled WeMod via Control Panel.

Deleted both AppData folders.

Restarted my PC.

Reinstalled WeMod from the official link.

However, the problem still persists.
Do you have any additional steps or advanced troubleshooting options I can try?

This issue is likely caused by something on your end. Have you tried linking the game manually?
Also, check for any corrupted Windows files and ensure your system is fully up to date.

Hi again,

I ran a full system file check (SFC /scannow) and the result was:

“Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.”
So there are no system issues on my end.

I also tried:

Manually selecting the correct .exe file (DeadIsland-Win64-Shipping.exe)

Reinstalling WeMod (clean install)

Ensuring my system and drivers are up to date

Verifying game files via Epic Games

Yet, WeMod still cannot detect or attach to the game.
My current game version is 1.1231387.0.1 (Epic Games).

Could the trainer simply be incompatible with this version?

Unfortunately, after looking into it,and as Chris mentioned in the other thread.,it appears to be a region-specific issue affecting Türkiye. there’s not much we can do, as a different version of the game is being distributed there. Sorry for any inconvenience.
