I've been trying again and again with the whole "do this before starting" and when I downloaded it and placed into resident evil 4 it still don't work

from the look of it your having the same issue as me,disabled overlay,only put dinput8.dl in the "game" folder that can be found on steam/steam/game ?

yeah was about to comment on your post that im having the same issue
i lower the quality of the game to see if that helped
then i ran it after opening without mods and then turning wemod on with all mods off and it worked
used only 2 mods from wemods and was still running but when i turn on easy kill it crashed

at least you where able to partially make it work while on my end it crash barely a minute after even when following the step given to us. guess where stuck waiting for support :/

the docs it had me download didn't really do anything other opening some odd tab on the side when opening the game without wemod

didn't open anything for me but not even sure if i put the file in the right place with how obscure the instruction are and how they don't match where the folder is placed but then again there only one "game" folder in steam so 🤷♂️

well when i downloaded and extracted the zip doc i then went to my docs, clicked "this PC", then i clicked which storage im using , and then clicked steam library, steam apps, commons, then look for resident evil 4 place the docs wemod had me download and then nothing happens from there
