Game received an update back in May 2023, WeMod released a update to their trainer a month before that. Game still worked fine up until these last few months where it appears to now just crash no matter when the trainer is activated. Others confirmed this issue within the discussion board a few weeks back but it appears to have not been seen by support.

Hi! Where did you purchase the game? Also, could you try disabling the overlay to see if that stops the crashes?

Purchased the game Oct.18th 2024, through Steam. That seemed to fix it for now. Do you know if the overlay causes issues in other total war games as well?

I'm not too sure since I don’t own those games and haven’t seen similar reports. If you run into crashes in other Total War games, try disabling the overlay first and let us know. I’ll go ahead and file a report for the TW Napoleon DE overlay. It’s a new feature, and the team’s still working on improving it.
