I have tried every trick that is posted here to get wemod to open. I get the same error message every time. Something to do with my antivirus

Build 19045.5679, with Norton 360 antivirus

I am totaly at a loss how to get We Mod to work. Id like to pay for the full version if I can get it to work.

As far as I know I have. I excluded: C:\Users\Cody\AppData\Local\WeMod* and C:\Users\Cody\AppData\Roaming\WeMod*

Can you try uninstalling WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.

Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC

Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.

Before launching Wemod, check again if C:\Users\Cody\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\Cody\AppData\Roaming\WeMod is still whitelisted.

followed the process twice and I am still unable to launce WeMod

I had the same problem. Also on Norton 360. I disabled the smart firewall for a bit and now it's working perfectly fine. maybe you can try this?

You may need to whitelist the specific files mentioned below:

Update.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod
WeMod.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod
WeModAuxiliaryService.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod\app-VERSION_NUMBER\resources\app.asar.unpacked\static\unpacked\auxiliary

Nothing in my quarantine relates to WeMod

I just uninstalled norton 360 and I still get the same error message

I also uninstalled wemod following the same processes and this is still what I get.
