#My opinion about Wemod in 2025.

I just want to say this clearly and from my heart, as someone who’s been around since the Infinity days (2017), I’ve supported this platform financially, I’ve been a Pro user, and I’ve genuinely wanted to see it grow into something amazing.

Now… I’m disappointed with the lack of communication 😦

I’ve paid 60 euros across two years, and in return, I’ve gotten:

Feedback being ignored, buried, or met with the same copy paste response: “Please note that leaving a suggestion does not guarantee that they will be added.”

Trainers made by creators who don’t seem to engage with the community, don’t respond to threads, and don’t update trainers properly.

Look at the recent The Last of Us Part II Remastered trainer: no Unlimited Stamina, no proper "Unlimited Health / Ignore Hits" (which is essential for Permadeath runs), and no Accuracy or No Recoil cheats.
Or Avowed, still no “Ignore Crafting Requirements Cheat”, or "Max 100% Rate Item Drop" Cheat, Nier Automata: no Unlimited Health/ Ignore Hits for Very Hard Difficulty or any other difficulty, Spiderman 2: "Unlimited Surge".

I know trainer development takes time and effort, and I truly respect that, but if some are consistently ignoring their trainer pages while others go above and beyond, then WeMod Team needs to step up with:

Better internal standards or expectations for trainer creators;

Or open the doors to community modding tools, so the people who care can contribute the features that keep being left out. ( This would be amazing )

I’m writing this because I love Wemod, but it’s becoming harder and harder to justify continued support when the quality and communication just aren’t there.

Thanks to anyone on the team who actually reads this and cares. I’m saying this because I care too ❤️

Hey @somber hare - thanks for taking the time to share this feedback and for being here with us for so long! Your support is much appreciated and I do hear where you're coming from.

I can't speak to each of these specifically but I do want to say that more transparency and engaging meaningfully with users like yourself is something we have been chatting about internally quite a bit and I'd like to assure you that it is a priority for us. It would be really helpful if you could point out some specific areas where knowing more information (including the kind of information) would help improve your experience.

It's in our best interests to make sure that the games that our players care about have all the mods you need - but the technically challenging nature of mod creation processes varies from game to game, creator to creator, update to update and even platform to platform (& a lot more factors!). Ensuring that any mod we release works consistently, predictably, and across all our players is something that frequently takes an unpredictable amount of time and effort (just the nature of these things). Multiplied by 3000+ games and 30,000+ mods.

But, all that said, if there are specific things in these areas that would help improve your experience of using WeMod - we welcome your feedback! The reality is that we have millions of players like you around the world, and a fairly small team - so as much as we want to - we aren't always able to respond to folks in a personalized way - but we do try our best and are always looking to improve.

# drowsy pasture Hey <@330022402719219723> - thanks for taking the time to share this feedback an...

Thank you screenshake, I really appreciate the thoughtful reply. I do understand that trainers development can be complex, especially with so many different systems, platforms, and games involved, and I also get that you’re working with a small team and a massive user base. That said, I’ll do my best to highlight a few specific areas where more transparency or communication would really help: The core issue for me, and many others, is that essential features are missing from trainers Some examples:

The Last of Us Part II Remastered: No Unlimited Stamina, no Ignore Hits (which is perfect for Permadeath runs), no Accuracy or Recoil cheats

Avowed: Still missing Ignore Crafting Requirements, or a Max Drop Rate cheat

Nier Automata: No proper Unlimited Health/Ignore Hits for Very Hard difficulty ( I know this is a old game but it is still supported as far as I know )

Spider-Man 2: No Unlimited Surge

These are core gameplay modifiers that players consistently look for. They’ve been requested publicly by multiple users. When we ask about them, we get silence, or just the default line: “Please note that leaving a suggestion does not guarantee that they will be added.”

What would help:

Clear communication when features are technically impossible, so we know it’s not being ignored;

Letting us know why certain features are left out, especially when they’ve been requested multiple times.

If internal resources are stretched thin, I think the next best step would be to open up community modding tools. A way for trusted users to:

Expand existing trainers;

Or even create their own trainers ( with appropriate review and quality control )

This would not only take pressure off Wemod team, it would bring back the community driven feeling that Infinity and early WeMod had 🙂

You copy paste my words MAAAN XD I wanted to create a new post regarding this problems with Wemod, but you already done it

#

I really hope your feedback will be genuinely considered and discussed by the entire team

im confused also, and explanations why xyz cheat cant be possible YET, would help

#

ive been here for a while as well, and i tend to notice w hen people constantly request the same feature, over and over and over again, but get ignored, or, like the guy said, the same boiler plate response of "even if u suggest soemthing, we might not add it anyways" essentially

#

like spiderman 2, why is it not possible to add a "Unlimited Surge" cheat to the game, if most values for energy/special meters, at least from my experiences, are either floating values represented by a bar or meter, or have explicit numerical values?? Stuff like that explained would go a long way to make it so people don't feel ignored.

This is super insightful feedback @somber hare (and others)! I really appreciate you articulating what would be helpful in situations like these. I'll share this thread with the team and we'll discuss the feasibility of and best approaches towards communicating something like this - but full transparency - I can't unfortunately share an exact timeline or next steps besides that at this time.

In the meantime - if you think of other related scenarios - please feel free to post them below FrogePray

Also, how does one determine what cheats can and cannot work other then the obvious like "single player anti-cheats/anti tamper mechanisms" by game developers??

#

cuz god forbid we have another situation like avp 2010 where their multiplayer anti-cheat bled over into campaigns with collectible items and crashed it if u tried to collect any. (Again, could be wrong, could be the game being ancient ass old that it's prone to break/crash more easily.)

Cause honestly, i think many players would get sick of games where mods/trainers dont work outside of online play because the devs in their infinite wisdom, decided DRM/antitamper mechanisms in single player campaigns are a good idea.

# leaden breach Also, how does one determine what cheats can and cannot work other then the obvi...

It reallly depends on a game by game basis. Think of it this way, each game, while coded in similar game engines, was created by entirely independant groups of people with their own ways of coding these games. What might be easy to achieve in one game might just be impossible on another just because of the way the game was coded, or the way it handles values like health/stamina etc. (as an example).

#

Look at Dying light 2. they allowed modding, had to patch the game to not disallow modding because it went against their stance of "modding is ok, just no online stuff to ruin other peoples gameplay", yet you get people like the "offcial" subreddit discord where they think if u use mods to make op weapons even if you DONT bring them over into online lobbies, you're satan. To the point where theres counter discords specifically because of how strict they act.

Anyway, I'd recommend creating a new post in an appropriate channel as I'd like to keep this thread on topic. Thanks @leaden breach @neat lake FrogePray

actually found the surge mechanics description for spiderman 2
