I had to manually uninstall the associated files inside the Program Files of my hard drive after my attempts to resolve the antivirus error failed. I don't usually document this kind of stuff when it happens so don't have much info, let alone evidence, to present. You're just going to have to understand what I describe below as to what I did/attempted to do to resolve the issue on my own. After my manual uninstall, I attempted to use the WeMod Setup .exe file for reinstall. Yet it just stops running the setup file (i.e. nothing else happens) every time I try executing it. I've tried executing it by double-clicking the file within File Explorer and by clicking Run after I tried executing it through Admin permissions.
I encountered similar issues like the others. I went through the initial paragraph's Whitelist instructions from the screen that popped up after I clicked the Learn More button and noticed that more specific instructions weren't available for Avast products and, due to the lack of more specific instructions, I had to "wing it" to try and add the highlighted Command lines into my Avast Antivirus' whitelist. Either I did it incorrectly or it didn't work.
Again, let me know what info and evidence do you believe I can provide to help get WeMod working for all of us again so I don't have to see advertisements for WeMod on YouTube 24/7.
