WeMod just shutting down out of nowhere for 2-3 days now.

This screen popped up. Tried the retry, did everything in the More Info. For the reinstall I tried the WeMod setp up and the manual download. Also gives an error screen but if I click the open setup log nothing opens. Currently completely uninstalled the WeMod 10. 10.1. Deleted anything with WeMod from my registry, Ran WiseCare 365. Currently running Super Anti Spyware (always run everything just to be sure). AVG never gave a security risk flag.

Used the manual install (10.10.3 file). Succesfully reinstalled atm if it crashes again I will update here.

Please follow these steps:

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.

Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC

Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.

Before you launch WeMod, Add the following WeMod folders as exceptions to your antivirus software:

  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod
  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

If you are unable to whitelist the entire folders, you may need to whitelist the specific files mentioned below:

  • Update.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod
  • WeMod.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod
  • WeModAuxiliaryService.exe, located in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod\app-VERSION_NUMBER\resources\app.asar.unpacked\static\unpacked\auxiliary
