Installation failed | Wand (WeMod) | Page 1

Hi, WeMod used to work fine for me, but it is no longer starting since today. When I start it up, it gives me an error and tells me to re-install. I have tried doing so, but I get an installation error.

Thus far I have whitelisted WeMod in my antivirus, uninstalled WeMod, removed all AppData WeMod folders and the Squirrel temp folder, reinstalled using administrator perms. It is still giving me the same Installation Failed error.

Anyone who can help me?

Operating System Version and Build: Windows 10 Version 22H2 (19045.5679)
Anti-Virus Software: Norton 360
Logs: Logs won't open (it did before, but somehow it won't anymore. SquirrelTemp folder is empty)

Here are some steps for you to follow if you have not done so already.

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC

Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.
