#wemod stop working

Please follow these steps:
Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Restart your PC
Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.
Before you launch WeMod, Add the following WeMod folders as exceptions to your antivirus software:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeModC:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
If you are unable to whitelist the entire folders, you may need to whitelist the specific files mentioned below:
- Update.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod - WeMod.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod - WeModAuxiliaryService.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod\app-VERSION_NUMBER\resources\app.asar.unpacked\static\unpacked\auxiliary
If the issue continues after correctly doing the above steps:
Open your antivirus program, even if it’s just the default Windows Defender.
Go to the quarantine menu (alternatively known as the Virus Chest in some programs).
Look for any WeMod files in there that were quarantined.
@snow hemlock thanks for this info. Did not know about the squirelltemp folder after restart the reinstall worked.
tried uninstall wemod at add or remove program , nothing happen , wemod app still there.
no wemod files is quarantined
just uninstall wemod by using revo.
still can't install wemod , this is the squirrelsetup log file.
did you solve it by any chance
if this hapends just resatrt you pc and it will be fine
unistalling and deleting a 3 wemod folders a restart then reinstall worked till i shut it down for couple hours then it went all borked again.
Try deleting the squirreltemp folder in app data local, restart your computer then run the install again
