If you want to run Elden ring modded you have to launch through a bat file not an .exe. This presents a problem for using wemod because it won't launch from .bat files meaning one needs to run the game, tab out, then enable we mod. For most games that's not an issue but for Elden ring if you tab out, the dpad on controllers and the ability to click through menus breaks. Making alt F4 the only option because most in game menus are unusuable.

The solution for wemod is easy though. Add a hotkey that tries to activate the mods for whatever game is currently on display. I can open wemod, choose elden ring. Launch the game. Then, without having to tab out, use the hotkey to trigger the game to try and run the mods. Do you think this is feasible?

Otherwise Elden Ring players have to choose between mods and wemod, not use both.
