On Windows 11 Desktop.
I am new to WeMod. I downloaded the app from the official website. At the end of the installation process a window popped up. I had not even run the app yet. The pop up said "Search for a way to open a link", I clicked on OK. It opened my Microsoft Store page. The MS Store search field had the text "WeMod" in it. Why would it want to search for WeMod? I am installing it ! This makes me a little worried now. Is my Microsoft account compromised now ? This makes no sense. Why did it do that ? What kind of link does it want to open ? I am thinking of uninstalling it after this suspicious behavior. Thank you in advance.

Hey Conrad, Can you replicate this and show us? Also did you download it from www.wemod.com
I can reassure you there is nothing nefarious with wemod as it’s a legitimate company based out of the USA.
