already saw a post about this but wasn't that detailed about the problem
Problem seems to occur even with Battleye off
Problem happens in single player
every mod gives seemingly an error sound upon activation except for the infinite money cheat
Infinite money cheat doesn't work
restarting PC after disabling Battleye doesn't do anything

Try verifying the game files on Steam. Go to your library, then right-click the game. Select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish.
Start the game on Steam and load your game save. Click Play on WeMod once you reach the main menu in the game. Then, activate the mods using hotkeys.
