Hey, well lets Test something out.

  1. Deactivate your antivirus software completely, i.e. really turn everything 100% off.

  2. Uninstall Wemod from your PC,
    to really make sure that everything is gone, check whether these folders are still there [if so, delete them]
    C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
    C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
    C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

  3. Download the offline installer of Wemod, you can find it here: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

  4. Open it as admin and give it the necessary permissions it asks for. Then try it again with the mods

Try verifying the game files on Steam. Go to your library, then right-click the game. Select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish.
Start the game on Steam and load your game save. Click Play on WeMod once you reach the main menu in the game. Then, activate the mods using hotkeys.
