before you ask, this weird glitch only happens on Wemod
i updated my Nvidia Drivers, and it fixed it, but after restarting my PC, the issue came back
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app
Hi! Please follow the steps below:
Open the Nvidia Control Panel:
You can usually do this by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting it from the context menu.
Navigate to 3D Settings:
In the left sidebar of the control panel, look for "3D Settings" and click on it.
Go to Program Settings:
Under "3D Settings," you'll see a tab labeled "Program Settings" on the right-hand side. Click on this tab.
Select the Affected Application:
In the dropdown menu under "Select a program to customize," find and select WeMod.
Modify CUDA-GPUs Setting:
Locate the "CUDA - GPUs" setting in the list of customizable settings below.
Click on the dropdown menu next to it. It likely shows your current GPU as the selected GPU.
Change the selection to "Use these GPUs:"
Important: If your current GPU is the only GPU listed under "Use these GPUs:", do not select it. This will effectively set the CUDA - GPUs setting to "None."
Apply the Changes: Click the "Apply" button at the bottom right of the Nvidia Control Panel to save your changes.
Launch the WeMod app and check if the issue is resolved.
Hello, this did not fix the issue, I can provide more info about my specs and the problem itself if needed though!
What is your GPU? Are you using any game controller? Also, have you tried reinstalling the app this way?
- Uninstall the WeMod app first via Add or Remove Programs.
- Find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC.
- To ensure that WeMod has been completely removed, delete it from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. The WeMod files are located here:
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod - Restart your PC.
- Download the latest WeMod installer from here: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
- Run the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions.
