Hello 2nd post here trying to get some help with getting WM to work with MHWilds.
I downloaded the zip file but ended up extracting the whole file to steam. Would this be the reason the game wont open with out crashing if i try to use WM. I have opened the game and then tried to load WM and it crashes. Nothing seems to help.

It very could be, delete what you have added to then verify your steam game files. Once that is done just place the one .DLL file into the games folder.

Game still crashes loading through WM, and by booting game and opening at main menu and when i am fully in game running around.

Can you try to turn off the new wemod overlay and let me know if the issue persists.

Just to confirm you did remove all the previous folders and files you added and verified your steam game files?

yes I did I removed them and only put the .dll file back
I am almost to the point of uninstalling steam and reinstalling just to do it again, to verify i did not miss anything

Does the game crash without wemod? Have you since tried restarting your pc?

No it does not crash if i do not try to load WM, I even read someone created a new account and that worked so I tried that, but it still crashed.
I know you are limited on what you can help with because you are trying to work this out without seeing what was/is being done and happening.

Crashing wouldn’t be related to an account issue.

I thought that to but they said they were able to get it to work with making a new account. Covering all my bases here.

Can you delete all changes you made, restart your PC and then try extracting the folder again to your desktop then take the one .dll file and drag it into your games folder location again.
No worries I totally get it covering your bases.
Also was anything recently flagged on your antivirus related to this?

Yes it says the file was posted 17 hrs ago now but that is the one i am Downloading.
I am going to uninstall the game and steam and reinstall everything and see if any of that will fix this issue.
And Verifying install file into the steam folder. Program files x86 > steam > and i can place it in here where all the other dll files arecorrect?@gaunt heart

remove the dll file from there. it should be added on the game's folder. on my device, the folder location of MHW is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterWilds

I did and crashed I will reset everything now that it is actually working and go from there.
