overlay is not appearing

I played Elden ring and after a while after I restarted the game it stopped working and when I pressed ALT+W only the cursor appeared

I also wanted to add that when I went into the settings and switched the overlay appearance to another I switched and after that moment it stopped working even when I switched back to Alt+W
