Phasmophobia Unity Crash Handler

Hello, whenever I try to start a new game after following all the steps, the loading screen stops at 90% into any map I pick and then the Unity Crash Handler message pops up. I have tried following these steps

Fully closing WeMod
Launching Bypass as Admin
Launching game through Steam
Lauching WeMod and clicking Play

The mods seem to work in the main menu but the game crashes whenever I load into a map. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Got it. Can you also try these steps please?

-Fully close WeMod first and make sure it isn't running
-Launch the bypass (also, make sure you've extracted it from the .zip file)
-Launch the game through Steam
-Once you've loaded into the main menu, launch WeMod again
-Go to the Phas trainer and click the Play button

Thanks for sharing us the recording! Can you try to disable the overlay by clicking the slider off at the top right corner of the trainer, restart both game and WeMod App, then check if issue persists?

Turned off the overlay, restarted both the app and game, still crashes at 90% :(

I see. May I know what AV software you're currently using?

BitDefender, I already added bypass.exe as an exception

How about Windows defender? What I would highly suggest is to turn off both Windows Defender and BitDefender. once done, Please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.

Did that all, did you mean the SquirrelTemp folder btw? I deleted that one. Still crashing :')

Gotcha. try to Verify integrity Files by right-clicking on the game and click Properties. Click on the Installed Files. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then force quit/close the WeMod App then re-launch the apps.

I just tried that, also unistalled, restarted and reinstalled Phas. Still the same result

Are you using other modding tool along side wemod app?

Got it. Since your AV's are currently disabled, can you try to download the bypass again? Then launch the bypass first before launching the game.

Hmm Can you try to click PLAY on wemod once you can freely navigate within the game world?

Yeah the mods work in the main menu like I said before, the game only crashes when I load a map

Oh what I mean is, launching the mods or clicking "Play" on WeMod after you've entered the game world, started a mission, or loaded the map.
