Hi! Where did you buy the game? Can you screenshot the folder where you added the text file?

Just checking, did you include the word .txt on the file name?

Please remove the changes you recently made and follow this:

  1. Go to the game’s folder
    (Steam Library, right-click Elden ring Manage > Browse local files), and you should see the .exe file.
  2. Create a new text document in that folder.
  3. In the text file, type “1245620” (without the quotes) as the content.
  4. Save the text file and name it “steam_appid.” do not include the word .txt as this is the file extension
  5. Launch the game directly using the “eldenring.exe” in this folder
