Oh what I mean is the trainer version. Please see screenshot.

True like yours

#

The same

#

Where is the mistake?

serene tiger
# tiny basalt The same

Have you tried launching the game initially and waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world before opening the mods by clicking PLAY on the WeMod app? If that doesn’t work, try launching the game first, and once you are on the main menu, open the mods by clicking PLAY again.

tiny basalt
#

Sir I tried both but it gives the same result.

tiny basalt
#

Please try again

#

I opened it before the game but it didn't work. I opened it in the middle of the game but it didn't work. I opened it while the game was loading but it still didn't work.

I use Windows' own antivirus

#

Windows Defender

#

I try with it closed but it doesn't work. I try with it open but it doesn't work.

This is noted. Since you already disabled your Windows defender, Try to verify integrity files on epic games. Open the Epic Games Launcher >Find the game in your Epic Games Library >Click the three dots on the right side of the game line>Select Manage>Click the Verify button>Wait for validation to complete. It may take a while to verify all your files. Then force quit/close the WeMod App then re-launch the apps.

I haven't tried this, is it possible?

Let me try Sir, I will get back to you.

Sir

This is what he says

You said that last time, a month passed and you didn't send me a message until I sent you a message.

This issue is likely isolated to your end as it was recently tested. Have you tried to link your game to the steam version.

tiny basalt
#

It gives the same error on the steam version too.

#

It opens other games, Far Cry 5, GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, it opens these games.

#

There is only one problem with this game

#

You said it was fixed last time but it wasn't fixed either send me an installation video or connect to my computer

stuck gulch
#

did you link the correct exe or are you trying to drag a shortcut onto it.

tiny basalt
#

I open the game from within the we are mode but it doesn't work. I open it in the middle of the game but it doesn't work. I open it while the game is loading but it doesn't work.

#

It says wemod failed to start.

tiny basalt
#

I tell you to connect to a video or a computer, you do not answer.

#

I will shoot you a video so you can understand better.

stuck gulch
#

We do not connect to anyones computers, Yes please make a video showing what .exe you used when manually linking it.

tiny basalt
#

Ok I will make the video

#

@stuck gulch is it true ?

stuck gulch
#

I see. What are those other two options? The best way to ensure you're linking the correct .exe is to start the game, then open Task Manager while it's running. Find The Last of Us Part I, right-click it, and select 'Open file location.' What happens when you try to click Play on both versions of the trainer? Is it the same message?

tiny basalt
#

Ok I understand my friend I will show you as a video

tiny basalt
stuck gulch
#

You are dragging the launcher onto the exe location and it should be this one.

#

Then once you are fully into the game, back out and then click play on wemod.

tiny basalt
#

Then once you are fully into the game, back out and then click play on wemod.

#

Watch the video, my friend@stuck gulch

stuck gulch
#

Does it also happen with the steam version? Try linking both the exes and see if it works.

tiny basalt
#

Yes sir, the same thing happens on Steam.

#

You couldn't solve the problem, right? 😀

If you’re experiencing issues with WeMod, your antivirus software might be interfering. To resolve this, try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

  • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
stuck gulch
#

Have you tried reinstalling wemod?

tiny basalt
#

I Tried Everything

#

Even the Huge WeMod Official Couldn't Solve the Problem 😁

#

Sir, I really wanted to play this game with mods. I saved money for 2 years to buy this game.

#

I Have Been Following You For More Than 1 Year But This Problem Made Me Very Sad

Hi there. Can you also send us a video of launching the game first and wait until you are in the game world, Alt+tab then press PLAY on wemod app?

tiny basalt
#

Do I enter the game myself or from within WeMod?

serene tiger
tiny basalt

@serene tiger

Watch the Video

serene tiger
#

thanks for the video. Please ensure that your windows defender is turned off. Once done, please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps

If I may chime in, it seems you're using a modded version of this game or maybe a modded script for Epic Games launcher. When you click to launch the game, as displayed on the video, a CMD window opens detailing information that confirms the use of a script or tool to emulate Epic Games credentials or Bypass it's DRM.

Please note that WeMod Mods are created and tested on each platform it was originally created on, and it may not work on modded versions of games.

Hi, I'm not blaming you of anything. I was pointing out what I saw within the contents of that cmd window. If you pause it at 00:16 you can see a script made to spoof Epic Games launcher credentials using hardcoded parameters.

The parameters include AUTH_LOGIN, AUTH_PASSWORD, AUTH_TYPE=exchangecode, and various Epic-related flags like epicapp, epicenv, EpicPortal, epicusername, epicuserid, epiclocale, epicsandboxid. These are authentication parameters that the Epic Launcher would normally handle and would never be visible to the user. The presence of an exchange code and hardcoded credentials is suspicious because typically, the Epic Launcher manages these automatically after the user logs in and launches games.

Normally Epic don't require manually passing these parameters via command line. The exchange code is usually temporary and generated by the launcher for authentication. Hardcoding them, as it seems to me, is an attempt to mimic a legitimate authentication process without going through the actual launcher's. Hence my suspicion of this being a modified launcher executable (launcher.exe) that bypasses the official Epic Launcher's DRM checks.

With that said, WeMod may not work with modded launch parameters like these. And whether it's normal for cmd windows to open when launching WeMod or not (at least in my case it doesn't happen.) the case remains that we can clearly see modified launch parameters for your The Last of Us copy on that video.

If you believe this is an error, I'd suggest doing a clean reinstall of your Epic Games launcher and the game itself and trying again if that's an option.

WeMod support were trying their hardest here and couldn't, as this was certainly an unusual case, and that's because you left that detail out.

@fossil elm How Many Times Will I Delete and Install Epic Games?

#

Thank you for your explanation

#

Tomorrow I Will Completely Delete Epic Games And Reinstall It

#

I will take a nice detailed video for you while deleting and uploading, is that ok?

#

I don't understand if the mod is not opening because of me
