I have tried Launching it with WeMod and clicking the message and still nothing works for the mods.

I click " Yes " to the steam message they give me and I activate a mod on the list and it just will not work at all. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or just it being outdated.

Try verifying the game files on Steam. Go to your library, then right-click the game. Select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish.

Start the game on Steam and load your game save. Wait until you can move in the game before you click Play on WeMod. Use the hotkeys to activate the mods.
