I've been trying for about half an hour now to do this, ive been through multiple other support messages and tried them all and nothing works, whenever i try to "Launch the game directly through eldenring.exe and once the game is fully loaded click play in wemod" It does nothing, just the usual error message saying "We're having trouble loading the mods into your game. Try..." The usual. Can someone please help, preferably as soon as possible.

- Navigate to your game's installation folder containing eldenring.exe
- Create a text file named "steam_appid.txt"
- Enter 1245620 as the file contents
- Launch the game directly through eldenring.exe
- Once the game has fully loaded, click Play in WeMod

if u look right down there u will see that steam_appid.txt
in that text file i put down the numbers 1245620

Please try to link your game exe in WeMod, follow the steps here: https://support.wemod.com/docs/why-cant-wemod-find-my-installed-game Once you have added the exe in WeMod, launch the game directly from the folder and only click play in WeMod after the game has finished loading.

It doesn't matter. It should work as long as you link to the correct exe. Did you try launching the game from that folder?

Do you see the EAC logo when you start the game?

Sorry for the hassle. It's odd, i just tried it on my own copy but it worked fine. if you have time, please remove all the changes you made, verify your game files on Steam, and follow the steps again on the 'Read before Playing' banner.
You might want to restart your PC after removing the changes before starting over.
