If I understand it correctly, Horizon has been retired as a product and is no longer under development or supported.

In this case, why are many core-features of the app still tied to a WeMod account? Additionally, many tools still require a WeMod pro plan. This results in having to pay, while in return recieving no support or developoment of any kind. Why not release a fully-offline version that the community can utilize now that WeMod no longer wants to support the app's features?

That is correct, Horizon has been discontinued. Many features still require a subscription due to ongoing cost to keep the servers running for Horizon and agreements with other developers who helped build it.

I completely understand functionality such as the game modders, where wemod has to provide server-side functionality for horizon.

But requiring a login to use the "Avatar Color Editor" tool on a local avatar seems like a completely arbitrary limitation.

I'm just confused why free features are still locked behind an account, even though it doesn't even require anything to sign-up. It just enforces an online requirement for certain Horizon tools, and makes them inoperable if wemod is inaccessible.
