Just signed up for wemod and was messing about and was playing borderlands 3 and wanted to crank up my guardian level, only after realizing it has my other characters still, launched the game normally without the mods and saw the effects of the tokens were in my actual game, will this get me banned if I try to play online with my friend (which we do regularly) and if so how can I avoid this or play offline so it doesn't affect my actual games save files?
#Worried about getting banned

Hi! I just wanted to clarify that WeMod does not condone any form of cheating in multiplayer games. Our trainers are specifically designed for modding single-player experiences. Cheating in multiplayer games can harm the integrity of the gaming community and negatively impact the experience for others. While we can’t provide specific details on any bans, we recommend using a new save game when playing in multiplayer mode. You can use your modded save game in campaign or story mode to avoid any issues.
I wasn't trying to cheat in fact i'm trying to keep it separate but didn't know how because now im worried of it affecting my legit game save
I'm trying to figure out how I can keep it that way but it is saving to my actual legit account which I don't want, is there any suggestions on how to separate it so when I launch the game through wemod it doesn't use my steam save files
We totally understand. We recommend playing with a new save game without mods to ensure there’s no overlap with your load saved game.
Please note that once you click PLAY on wemod, it will automatically inject the mods in the game.
I've tried starting a new character and playing offline but using items such as the guardian tokens affected my whole account which I fear can't be undone
I see. I do not own the game so I am unable to test that. May I know if WeMod is launched or running while creating a new save game?
it was open while creating a new character but for some reason when launching it through wemod it's still connected to my actual account and it's progress, i'm just wondering if there's a way I can disconnect it
As previously mentioned, please create a new save game to prevent this issue. Be sure to fully close WeMod and restart your game after you close WeMod app.
Make a new save how? store my save file separately?
Just to confirm, does the game have a save slot? If so, please start a new game after ensuring that WeMod is fully closed.
is uses one saved profile but uses a mechanic where you just create a new character and everything gets tied to that profile, so when I made the new character thinking I was in the clear it still tied to my account
