WeMod wont work anymore

I have tried everything in the channels here, each time I try to open it, it wont open, it says an error has occurred, and tells me to reinstall the app or allow it through my anti-virus. NONE of that works, i have reinstalled over 10 times and NOTHING is working, its begining to get frustrating that i can use this and mess around with my single player games

Can you please disable your AV software, then try to to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.

it worked this time but the last 10 times i tried the same thing it didnt, but thank you

I see. Do you receive a different error message this time?

its back to doing it again, i disabled virus protector and tried to reload it and it keeps coming up with it

May I know what AV software are you currently using?

it was completely fine with wemod as well and still is

I am also encountering this issue, but using Avast.
Windows also won't let me uninstall WeMod if I've tried to open it without restarting.

Restarting, uninstalling, and then reinstalling seems to be a workaround as the program work then, but it only works until I restart my computer again, in which case the issue begins again anew.
