I've downloaded we mod for fields of mistria but whenever i run it, nothing happens. It's asking me "you sure you wanna run this", i click yes and that's it. I tried running we mod while the game's open in the background or not, nothing works.

Also, try adding these WeMod folders as exceptions to your anti-virus

If you’re experiencing issues with WeMod, your antivirus software might be interfering. To resolve this, try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

It's just windows asking, does that sometimes

Also, my anti-virus warns me quite loudly whenever it interferes with something so I don't think it's doing anything

The setup exe is not working btw, that's my problem. Sorry for my poor explanation. I am trying to run the setup exe

Could you try re-downloading the WeMod setup from https://www.wemod.com/download and run that to see if you have the same issue?

The one I downloaded earlier said "fields of mistria", this one doesn't say that but I assume it's also for fields of mistria and not some general modding app? 😂 Sorry, i don't wanna get in trouble with my other games if they detect some modding app on my pc 🫠

Installing the Fields of Mistria trainer will install the entire WeMod app anyway, but I want to make sure that it's not that installer that's the issue.

You won't get in trouble with other games as long as you don't use the mods for them. With the exception of a few games, WeMod isn't detected in the background if you haven't injected the mods into the game.

However, some games may require you to close WeMod fully before they boot, otherwise the game just crashes (Fallout 76 and Forza Horizon 5 are such examples)
