I've seen other posts where it says the mods will not work for pirated copies of the game, but I am playing on the Xbox app on ym PC where I pay for the XBox Game Pass. I'm having the problem where I open the game and the mods turn off. It was fine until 2 days ago (12/12/24) so it doesn't make sense to say it happened with the update made in November. Why would this be happening? I only pay for WeMod for the Coral Island mods so it doesn't make sense to keep it if the mods will not work.
