If you’re experiencing issues with WeMod, your antivirus software might be interfering. To resolve this, try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

  • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Strange, might be something on your PC interfering with the app. Try checking the firewall settings instead. If still no dice, all I can think of is a clean app install.

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature in the settings/control panel. After that, Navigate these three places and if folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

  • C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
  • C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
  • C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC. Download WeMod from this link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download. Reinstall the App.

Tbh, my ideas are running thin. Tho, if it's doing it with all your games, regardless of whether you start the game first or launch it via WeMod by pressing play, it is most likely something on your PC is causing this. Since reinstallation is no luck, the only thing I can suggest now is to try running a Windows update to ensure you have the latest version.
