Hey there, please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.
Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.
Thanks, let me try that. If possible, wold you be able to tell me where the Wemod files would be located? I want to make sure I remove all of them, to ensure this step works properly.
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Thanks! So I removed all of those, should I also do an uninstall from settings?
Yeah ideally you should uninstall it first then check for any remaining folders
Ok, let me do that
You can also use RevoUninstaller. It’s a program that thoroughly checks for any remaining folders and files when uninstalling
Ok, looks like they're all gone. I'll try installing again.
Yep, I just finished my restart
Going to do the next step. 🙂
I finished the steps, it's still doing the filckering/glitching. even at the login screen, it was spazzing out.
Any other apps doing this?
Nope, just this one
Press Win + R then copy and paste this and press enter
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\wemod.exe --disable-gpu
What does that do?
Disables hardware acceleration for the app
Did you do that when the app was already running or closed
closed. It opened when I ran it
Oh, wait, it might have been minimized to the try
YAY! IT WORKS!!!
Thanks so much!!!
If it happens again try adding the disable gpu part on the launch parameters under the shortcuts properties
Will do, thanks so much for all your help!
