#WeMod app volume trouble

Every time I start up WeMod, it sets my volume to max in audio. But the settings are set to much quieter but doesn't seem to be the one used. Only re-clicking the volume I want it set to seems to correct the volume of the app.

But I have to do this EVERY time I start up the app again. Which can be annoying if it slips my mind and activate a trainers option, only to get the max volume.

Hi, can you check the following?

  • In-app Volume: Check the volume slider within WeMod itself is set to your desired level. Sometimes there are separate volume controls within apps that override system settings.
  • Default Device: Double-check that your preferred audio output device (speakers or headphones) is set as the default in your Windows sound settings.
  • Communications Tab: In Windows sound settings, look for a "Communications" tab. Check that it's not set to automatically adjust volume when WeMod launches.

In-app Volume: Is still set to 10 but until I change it, activating an option or so still blasts at full sound, even though I have set it to set previous time I opened it.

Default Device: I do hear the sound, just way to loud. It is the app's volume control I have trouble with.

Communications Tab: This is just for calls??? And is set to reduce sound???? Unsure about this one sorry

have you tried reinstalling?

Just did that. Nothing. Just doesn't seem to 'save' how the previous time I opened it closed. The side bar ALWAYS is out, though I prefer just the thumbnails seen. When I go to search through my games, is ALWAYS the last one used order instead of A-Z like I prefer.

And of course when starting up Wemod again, has the actual volume set to max even if the option is set to low. I have not a clue of why mine is like this.

hi sorry for the late reply but we have not found any bugs/glitches that may affect the app's volume.

I have confirmed with @wicked stirrup that we are having the exact same issue with the app.

Able Potato has confirmed with me that we are having the same problem

hi ablepotato, your concern has already been resolved by reinstalling. if you have further concerns, pls do open your own thread.

My thread was closed before I could reply, stating the issue came back after a couple of time closing and reopening the app...

#

It was not resolved, obviously otherwise I wouldn't be posting here...

#

I think by the 3rd or 4th time reopening the app it blasted my eardrums again even though the volume slider STILL says it's low volume.

#

Stop dodging the problem and waving it off just because there are only 2 people with the glitch so far.
I'm sure that there will be more people soon enough if you don't fix it properly.

#

Even something like setting the default volume for the app to %50 would be a good temporary fix until more details about what is happening are found, then anybody with the problem won't have an issue with it anymore and everyone else can just turn the volume up if they're that deaf.

@fair saffronPlease do not hijack threads. If you need help with a trainer you should create a new thread in #1223700275001561129

@keen heron we're not dodging the issue, we're asking you to create your own thread as mentioned if you have other concerns. this issue is being looked at but at the moment there is no glitch or bug affecting the app's volume. again, pls open your own thread as this one is form's.
