Hi, I'd like to check out something

Previously, I was able to use the C&C: Generals - Zero Hour cheat with the Contra modded version

However, after the most recent update, the cheat refuses to recognize any instance of the Contra modded version (from the EA / Origin Generals version).

This is true even if I try to use the older version of the cheat mod.

I notice that the updated Wemod cheat now makes you choose between Generals / Zero Hour.

Could that be fixed or looked into?

Hey there. By modded version, do you mean mods outside of WeMod?

Unfortunately, all trainers for WeMod are tested and designed for vanilla versions of the game

But previously, I could use the trainer for Zero Hour with the Contra mod, and now it doesn't recognize it

We can't assist you further with that, as modded versions outside of WeMod aren't supported.

If a modded version worked before, but doesn't now, that may be because something within the game itself changed, forcing the developers to update the trainer to match whatever they changed.

Would it be possible to have a separate version of the Generals trainer - the one that was updated on 2022? It doesn't need to be updated because Contra uses that version of Generals as the base.

No, the game file itself did not change. I know because my Zero Hour - Contra file is running from a copied version of the original Zero Hour folder - any changes to the Zero Hour exe will not affect that folder

I did notice that the Generals trainer makes you choose between Generals and Zero Hour now? Previously I think it only chose Zero Hour. It seems to have made that change even to the 2022 version of the trainer?

There does seem to be a separate trainer for just Generals itself which explains why previously, the Zero Hour trainer only worked for the expansion version

I suspect that maybe folding them into one may have messed with the process? It might be worth splitting them again. I notice that the Red Alert 3 / Red Alert 3 Uprising cheats also have the same option and do not function well too.

Hey there, creating a new trainer to support additional mods is not something we can do. If the trainer worked previously that was just luck.

Or if there's a place to just download the previous trainers and operate them independently of Wemod that would be swell

Okay, to summarize: What I want now is the option to revert fully to the version of the trainer that was updated in 2022. It worked fine for the versions that I was playing.

Also to clarify, this is the EA version
