High CPU Usage and Input Lag

Hey everyone,
New to the discord, so sorry if this has been covered but I looked through some posts and the FAQ and didn't find it. I used WeMod for years on my old PC with terrible specs with no issue. I recently upgraded my PC and suddenly now it's creating lag and input delay in my games, even just by running in the background, and I've frequently been getting high CPU usage warnings about it, but not for anything else. Uncertain if there's a setting I can change or how to move forward.

Hey Bake, You mentioned this is a new build. Quick question is your monitor plugged into your motherboard or GPU.

Also try to disable the ai game guide under customization if you use it and let me know if that helps.

Common troubleshooting:
It affects all games equally
It doesn't matter what else is running in the background
I have deleted and reinstalled wemod
I have a pro account
It doesnt matter if im using mods or even if wemod is active or just running in the background

@raw glacier Monitor is plugged into the GPU, and I did try to disable the AI, with no noticable change

are you using any apps that control your cpu?

The native MSi regulator, which I've tried with standard, AI, and disabled with the same result

To be entirely fair, I don't know that this is a WeMod issue, but that seems to be the only program that causes it

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\WeMod.exe --disable-gpu --force-cpu-draw Try running that from cmd or win+r (run)

Presumably this will just remove any CPU restrictions on WeMod and make it run only on the CPU?

Having run that, the issues seems to be better, but not gone completely

What kind of CPU do you have?

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor, 4701 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
Along with a 4080 Super for a GPU

With WeMod open, press Ctrl + Shift + D on your keyboard.

1. Go to the Performance tab in the new window.
2. If WeMod shows high CPU usage, click the Record icon (you can uncheck Memory if selected).
3. Let it record for around 30 seconds, then hit Stop.
4. Click the Save Profile icon, save the file, and send it to me then i'll forward it to the team.

It did not show exceptionally high usage, that usually comes in random spikes, but i did ocnfirm that the issue persisted while this was being recorded
