I've been using WeMod for a long time now but I just noticed that under the Windows Data Usage WeMod is listed multiple time and is showing a very high usage rate for a program of this time. I would like to know it is using so darn much...

It is likely showing multiple times as every new version has its own exe

#

The usage really isn't that high when averaged over 30 days and it very likely caused by the ads

Then how does the 1st one listed had over 20GB? it's weird. In the past 30 days I have only used codes for Silent Hill 2 Remake, DBZ Sparking Zero, Dying Ligh 1 and 2 and God of War Ragnarok and the app has only update twice so I just don't understand where Over 50 GB copmes from. The update only shows 166MB which seems even stranger.

The updater only downloads the difference which is quite small

I'm not calling Liar or anything I'm just genuinely confused

You can hover over it and it will tell you which folder the exe is in

#

And it really depends on how long you leave wemod open

#

If you don't close it you will have ads running 24/7

#

plus other data that is pulled from our servers and sent to us

okay, thank you ofr helping me understand. Each listed .exe shows as a seperate beta build. Awesome.

#

Still getting this much from tiny little ads is crazy though 😛

👍 if you close it when not in use and still see high usage like this definitely let us know

#

I'm not 100% sure what average usage is for ads

ok will do. also something I thought of on that note. paying monthly for Pro is useful but having a 1 time large payment option for Lifetime Pro would be nice for alot of people. 🙂

Lifetime subscriptions are not sustainable unfortunately
