Wemod has always worked normally, but now for some reason it has an infinite loading screen. I've tried most of the fixes on the community site and nothing has worked.

Hi! Have you tried adding these WeMod folders as exceptions to your antivirus?

C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

If you haven't already, find and remove any WeMod-related components from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your PC and reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Try these steps to see if they make a difference.

*Initiate run dialog on your PC by using the keyboard shortcut WIN + R.
*You should see a window will appear.
*In this window, enter appdata and click the OK button.
*Then verify the presence of a folder labeled "Squirreltemp" within the "Appdata > local" directory.
*If you do locate a folder named "Squirreltemp," kindly proceed to delete it.
*Make sure that you only remove the "Squirreltemp" folder and avoid deleting any other files or directories.

Make sure to restart your PC. Please proceed to reinstall WeMod.

The "Application Error 0xc0000005 (Access Violation)" typically occurs when your computer is unable to properly process certain files or settings required to run a program or installation. Although this error may appear when trying to use specific software, its causes can vary widely from faulty RAM to corrupted system files or incorrect system settings.

One potential solution is to check for corrupted Windows system files. You can do this using the System File Checker (SFC) tool, a built-in Windows utility that scans for and repairs corrupted files. If any issues are found, SFC will attempt to restore the damaged files using a cached version stored on your PC.

Here’s how to run the System File Checker:

  1. In the search bar on the taskbar, type Command Prompt, then right-click and select Run as administrator.
  2. In the Command Prompt window, type sfc /scannow (make sure there’s a space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.
  3. The scanning process may take several minutes. If SFC detects and fixes corrupted files, restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

Hi, anyone else knows what can i do?

As Genie mentioned, the error might be related to your PC rather than the WeMod app itself. Unfortunately, troubleshooting hardware or system-level problems goes beyond what we can assist with directly. You might consider reaching out to a tech support professional who can take a closer look at your system.

I have exactly the same problem. It deals with this file: "vendor.bugsnag-ef82d087.5b9088ec5b2b2f24dadc.bundle.js"

It gives error in this line: r.apply(console, o)
