@gaunt radish Hey there! Is this the only app you are experiencing this on?

winged elm
#

@gaunt radish Hey again! If you are able to open the wemod app and when you are on the application press control + shift + L it will create a log file for us, If you can follow the steps i provide and paste the log in here that would be great!

#

Do you also by chance have a NVIDIA gpu?

gaunt radish
winged elm
#

Do you have a nvidia control panel on your PC

gaunt radish
winged elm
#

Were you by chance doing any GPU updates when you had wemod open prior to this happening?

gaunt radish
#

No I don’t think so

winged elm
#

Okay, if you could please follow the video I provided and paste the log in here. Also any sort of windows errors appear when this happens?

gaunt radish
#

I have the control panel

#

Just checked

#

How do I copy the address

winged elm
#

So when you press the keys to create the log, go to the top bar and right click the last option and click copy address, then open up your file explorer and paste it into the top bar. After find the log file created and then copy it over here.

#

It only allows me to save to desktop lol

winged elm
#

That’s fine

#

Save the log and send it here

winged elm

gaunt radish
#

Please follow these steps:

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC

Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.

1. Use Windows Error Checking for Drives

  • Open File Explorer.
  • Right-click the drive you want to check.
  • Select PropertiesTools tab → under Error Checking, click Check.
  • Follow the prompts to scan and repair the drive for any file system errors.

2. Use the Command Prompt - System File Checker (SFC)

This tool scans and repairs missing or corrupted system files.

  • Press Windows + X, then select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin).
  • Type the command:
    sfc /scannow

  • Press Enter. The scan will begin and may take some time. If any corrupted files are found, it will attempt to repair them automatically.

3. Use DISM (Deployment Image Service and Management Tool)

If SFC doesn't resolve the issue, you can use DISM to repair Windows images.

  • Open Command Prompt (Admin).
  • Type the following command to check for corruption:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

  • Then, to repair the image, type:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  • Press Enter. This process can take a while.

4. Check for Malware/Corruption with Antivirus Software

  • Run a full scan using your preferred antivirus program. Malware can corrupt files and lead to system issues.
  • You can also use Windows Defender if no third-party solution is installed:
    • SettingsUpdate & SecurityWindows SecurityVirus & Threat Protection.

5. Check the Event Viewer for Errors

  • Press Windows + X and select Event Viewer.
  • Go to Windows LogsSystem or Application.
  • Check for errors or warnings related to files or drives.

Okay thank you

winged elm
#

Hey @gaunt radish The team has added a week's Pro membership to your account to see if this resolves the issue. If you don’t notice any improvements, unfortunately, we may be out of options. My only suggestion would be to upgrade to Windows 11 (if you are currently using Windows 10) and check if that helps.
