I'm wondering how the unlimited health works on this game. I seem to still die and I have blood vision in the corners as well as black and white. In the base game this usually indicates low health. But my health packs won't work. What's happening?

Steam. I do die. I also have mods on from vortex but the other mods seems to be working fine. Unlimited ammo, inventory, etc. Idk if dumb alien is working yet cuz I'm just before the alien reveal part. I am playing on nightmare

Wemod doesn't work with other mods. If it does, then it's not intended, and there would be issues. Have you tried running WeMod without vortex and see if the unlimited health will work?

I have not! I'll try tomorrow. I'm currently getting ready for night shift. With wemod, will I be killed by the alien with unlimited health? Aside from scripted events of course

you shouldn't be killed if the unlimited health is on. and sure you can give it a try at your most convenient time.

From what I know, it depends on the game. But generally, using WeMod does not disable achievements.
We don't officially support the steam deck but someone shared a guide for it. You may want to check #steamdeck-guide

@halcyon dagger I definitely still die. I turned off my vortex mods. And only had wemod running. Walked up to the first group of humans. The ones where you're with axel still. Took a few shots. Lots of shots infact. But I still died

I've reloaded from scratch. Gonna take about 25 minutes to get back to where I was. I'll see if I still die

You can also try to load the game on Steam first and wait until you can move in the game before you click Play. Let me know if the mods still do not work.

I still die. But only from revolver. Also my screen stays black and white with red outline. The kind that shows when you're close to death. But I can't use a medkit to fix it. Even when I turn the unlimited health mod off

I only die from revolver at point blank. Strange.

Turned off unlimited health just for a test. Die in 3 shots. Idk what to say haha
