Will The Long Dark be updated on the steam platform?

I'm seeing some other people online having the same issue I'm having: the unlimited weight mod not working on liquid weight items like water, cooking oil, lantern oil etc.
I saw the trainer has been updated for Epic just over a week ago, just wondering if a similar update will be coming for steam that might address this issue.

Also are you using any other mods with the game or are you using the wintermute dlc?
