having issues when activating perks animals will no longer spawn. Am i doing something wrong or is there certain perks that trigger it?

it will only spawn animals in the inital area i spawn in to but as i am walking around no more animals will spawn

If you started experiencing these issues after using them on multiplayer then there won’t be much we can do. I can have our testers reveiw it on single player but if we are unable to replicate the issue you may need to try a new save or a reinstall.
