when trying to download once's it gets to 100 it says installation has failed and i have my anitvirus off and it still wont work?

The troubleshooting below is for those getting these error messages or similar:

There was an error installing the application.
Failed to extract installer.

Please follow these steps:

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC

Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link:

https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Install the software.

I tried this and although i have the same issue, the steps above don't resolve it, also the offline installer also displays the same error message as soon as i launch it. Any ideas?
