I added elden rings EXE manually but the note is kinda confusing me on how to bypass the anticheat, the "where the exe is located with 1245620 as the contents and name it "steam_appid"" is where its confusing me.

Create a text document inside the games folder where the exe was when you manually linked it. Then inside that text document type 1245620 and name is steam_appid

Can you show the changes you made in the games folder
make sure you linked the correct exe and not a shortcut on your desktop
