Hi guys,
I'm a pro user but I'm experiencing issues in Mortal Kombat 1. I can't prevent random crashes at the beginning of a match when the trainer runs alongside the game, regardless of whether any settings are enabled. I’ve experienced crashes during casual CPU local matches and in the towers, to the point where I can’t play for more than 15 minutes without a crash at the beginning of a match. Additionally, I can't determine the root cause of the crash since the game does not provide crash logs.

Sometimes the cheats don't even work even though I run everything correctly, and it doesn't crash when they don't work.

Please help solve the issue. Thank you in advance

Hey trycky, is your game pirated or are you trying to use it on multiplayer.

Hi. It's not pirated. I'm using it in invasions mode which is not online.

WeMod is only for campaign/story mode

It was always working perfectly fine until last month though. After the game updated it doesn't work properly

I've just tried in campaign mode but it doesn't matter even in campaign it crashes after announcer says "fight"

invasions IS under campaign mode...

campaign is Kampaign not invasion

The trainer is not designed for any other game mode

after testing all three modes, I've discovered that the mods don't work on either one of them!

As I said previously it is only for story mode

it was never intended for any other game mode

Even if cheats are only intended to work in story mode, they don't work there either.

All mods are working properly for mk1. Please be more specific about what you are having issues with and what you've tried to resolve the issue

both story mode and towers mode are completely offline. the only cheat that works is the infinite timer one.

I've tried launching steam in offline mode to see if it would make a differnce, and it's still the same issue

Try launching the game from steam, not wemod

Doing so makes it so I can turn any of the modifications on

Oh wait, I just had to give it a bit.it seems to work now! Even on invasions. Thank you! Sorry for the trouble.

When I launch the game then press play from wemod app I get an error message that states "There was a problem loading the mods. If you didn't close the game, your game version might not be compatible or you may have to allow WeMod through your firewall or anti-virus software."
Edit: I'm on windows 11 btw

@alpine nimbus Btw I've added WeMod to widnows defender exclusions and allowed through firewall settings. But nothing changes, the issue remains.

@alpine nimbus If the mods work it crashes as soon as fight starts. If I try to start mods while the game is open I get the error. Has nobody ever had the same issue ?

when it crashes I just try again. I load it up without cheats enabled, open story mode and turn it on mid fight.

then I exit and play
